HIGHER RESISTANCE TO COMPRESSION NEW TEST PACKAGES

According to what indicated in the last version of ISO 23953-2, which foresees for Test Packages listed in Table 4 (at the bottom of this message) the possibility to get a wrapper thichness up to 1mm, MADI have studied, developed and tested new Test Packages using a lateral plastic reinforcement of about 0,25mm thichness that, added to a wrapper of about 0,125mm, guarantees a higher resistance to the compression got during Test Packages stacking.

This solution will avoid Test Packages deformation.

Taking into consideration that the wrapper on the larger surfaces is reduced (0,125mm), a very good contact between two approached stacked Packs is guarantee.

We have also studied a solution forecasting test packages mixture inside a plastic box. The results were not satisfactory; in fact, particularly after the first uses, you normally have a reduction of mixture inside the box, which doesn’t guarantee a good contact between two approached stacked Packs, due to the presence of air between the mixture and the cover of plastic box.
